Almond Milk: Safe for Dogs and Cats?

Almond milk is not a useful drink for dogs. Commercial products may be calorie-dense or contain sugar, flavoring, gums, allergens, or xylitol, and too much can cause vomiting or diarrhea.

Plain unsweetened almond milk is unlikely to harm most healthy cats in a tiny amount, but it offers no useful nutrition and commercial versions can contain sugar, additives, or flavoring that upset digestion.
